Ultra-fine carbide with a grain size below 0.6 μm and 12% cobalt content provides cutting-edge strength, toughness and wear resistance for demanding mold steels.
The TiAlSiN coating uses HIPIMS deposition and an enhanced alloying design to improve high-temperature performance, reduce friction and support resistance to impact and crack propagation at temperatures up to approximately 1200°C.

Tool profiles are inspected using Walter HELICHECK PLUS, supported by 150× optical inspection and 300× high-definition appearance inspection.
Ball nose and corner radius tools can be controlled to a radius accuracy within 3 μm for consistent cavity, profile and contour machining.
Mainly recommended for mold, die, powder-metallurgy and selected tool steels with workpiece hardness up to HRC60.
Selected difficult-to-machine stainless steel applications, including 316-grade materials, can also be evaluated according to the machining operation. For applications focused mainly on stainless steel, use the corresponding ZHY stainless steel end mill range.
