Product Overview
This carbide ball nose end mill is designed for curved-surface machining,
cavity milling, three-dimensional contouring and mold profile finishing
of carbon steel, mild steel, low-alloy steel and cast iron up to HRC55.
Also commonly called a ball end mill, it combines an ultra-fine carbide
substrate, AlTiN nano-composite coating and precision-ground full-radius
geometry for stable CNC machining and consistent contour accuracy.

The full-radius ball nose profile supports continuous tool contact
during curved and three-dimensional machining operations.
Curved-Surface Machining
Suitable for machining curved, rounded and free-form surfaces
requiring continuous cutting contact.
Cavity Milling
Designed for cavity bottoms, internal contours and recessed
areas in steel workpieces.
3D Contouring
Supports three-dimensional profiling and complex CNC toolpaths
with changing surface angles.
Mold Profile Finishing
Suitable for semi-finishing and finishing mold profiles,

Ball Nose Geometry and Cutting Performance
Carbide material, coating, cutting geometry and radius control are
combined to support stable cutting and consistent curved-surface machining.
Ultra-Fine Carbide Substrate
Made from ultra-fine carbide with a grain size below 0.8 μm
and 10% cobalt content, providing a balance of cutting-edge
strength, toughness and wear resistance.
AlTiN Nano-Composite Coating
The high-aluminum AlTiN coating offers red hardness,
oxidation resistance and wear resistance at operating
temperatures up to approximately 1100°C.
Full-Radius Ball Nose Profile
The full-radius cutting profile supports smooth contact during
curved-surface, cavity and three-dimensional contour machining.
Radius Accuracy Within 3 μm
Precision grinding and profile inspection help control the ball
nose radius accuracy within 3 μm for consistent contour machining.
6° Positive Rake Angle
The positive rake geometry helps reduce cutting resistance
and supports smoother cutting in carbon steel and general steel.
35° Helix Design
The 35° helix supports stable chip evacuation and continuous
cutting during contouring and cavity machining.
Dual-Margin Peripheral Edge
The dual-margin peripheral design improves tool guidance and
cutting stability during CNC contour milling operations.
Controlled Edge Preparation
Fluid blasting and automated rubber-diamond polishing help
remove microscopic burrs and control edge preparation
within ±0.003 mm.

up to HRC55. For titanium alloys, hardened steels above HRC55 and
