Description

DLC-COATED CARBIDE DRILL · ALUMINUM ALLOYS · 2 FLUTES

Product Overview

This DLC-coated solid carbide drill is designed for drilling
aluminum alloys, copper, brass and selected non-ferrous materials.
The 2-flute structure provides chip space for material evacuation,
while the low-friction DLC coating helps reduce material adhesion
around the cutting edge.

Standard metric sizes and drawing-based custom dimensions are
available for distributors, CNC machining companies, OEM projects
and customers requiring combined milling and drilling tool supply.

Recommended Drilling Applications

Recommended for aluminum and non-ferrous components requiring
stable chip evacuation, reduced material adhesion and controlled
hole quality.

01

General Hole Drilling

Suitable for standard holes in aluminum plates,
housings, blocks and CNC-machined structural parts.

02

Through-Hole Machining

Supports through-hole applications where chip
evacuation and controlled breakthrough are required.

03

Blind-Hole Machining

Can be selected for blind holes according to the
required diameter, drilling depth and coolant condition.

04

Batch CNC Production

Suitable for repeated drilling of aluminum components
requiring consistent dimensions and repeatable tool supply.

Application Confirmation Is Recommended

Drill diameter, hole depth, dimensional tolerance, machine
rigidity, toolholding condition, coolant supply and workpiece
alloy should be reviewed before selecting the final drill
specification.

Tool Structure and Cutting Performance

The solid carbide body, DLC coating and 2-flute configuration
work together to support drilling in aluminum and selected
non-ferrous materials.

01

Solid Carbide Construction

The solid carbide structure supports tool rigidity
and dimensional stability during CNC hole machining.

02

Low-Friction DLC Coating

DLC coating helps reduce friction and material adhesion
when drilling aluminum, copper and selected non-ferrous
materials.

03

2-Flute Chip Space

The 2-flute configuration provides space for chip flow
and supports evacuation from the drilled hole.

04

External-Coolant Application

Designed for drilling conditions using external coolant
or lubrication selected according to the alloy and
machining operation.

05

Material-Specific Positioning

Primarily positioned for aluminum alloys and selected
non-ferrous materials instead of universal drilling
across unrelated material groups.

06

Custom Dimension Support

Diameter, cutting length, overall length and shank
dimensions can be reviewed for drawing-based and
repeat-order requirements.

Standard and Custom Drill Sizes

Standard metric sizes and customized configurations are available
according to the required hole diameter, drilling depth, machine
condition and purchasing quantity.
